Earlier this month, Vivo announced the official launch date for its X200 series in India. The Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro, the brand’s flagship models, will be unveiled tomorrow (December 12, 2024). However, even before the launch, the pricing details for India have already surfaced.
Vivo X200 Series Pricing Leak
The pricing information comes from tipster Abhishek Yadav, who shared the details on X (formerly known as Twitter). The Vivo X200 series was first launched in China back in October 2024. In China, the starting price for the lineup was 4,300 Yuan (around $591). But in India, the base Vivo X200 is expected to start at ₹65,999 (roughly $777). This shows a noticeable price increase for the Indian market.
For the 12GB + 256GB model, the price is ₹65,999, while the 16GB + 512GB variant is expected to cost ₹71,999 (around $848). The Vivo X200 Pro, on the other hand, is likely to be priced at ₹94,999 (around $1,199) for its single configuration of 16GB + 512GB storage. In comparison, this same model was launched in China for 5,299 Yuan (around $825), making it significantly cheaper there.
What’s Special About the Vivo X200 Pro?
The Vivo X200 Pro brings some exciting features. It comes with Zeiss lenses for its rear cameras, including India’s first 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto camera. The phone also uses the V3+ imaging chipset, promising better photo and video quality.
For performance, it is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 processor, which is the same chip found in the Oppo Find X8 series. The phone features a large 6,000mAh battery, runs on Android 15 with FuntouchOS 15, and comes with several advanced features.
