The Redmi K80 series has surprised the market, selling more than 1 million units in only 10 days — a record-breaking achievement for the K series. Redmi K80 Series: A Quick Look
Beginning at 2,499 Yuan (around $345), the Redmi K80 series offers two models: the standard K80 and the K80 Pro. These gadgets acquire significant upgrades in performance, battery duration, and cameras, intending to convey lead-level experiences.
Redmi K80: Powerd by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, it incorporates a 50MP double camera arrangement, a 6,550mAh battery, and supports 90W wired quick charging.
Redmi K80 Pro: equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, it includes a triple-camera system (two 50MP sensors and a 32MP sensor), a 6,000mAh battery, 120W wired quick charging, and 50W wireless charging.
The two models sport a level OLED LTPS display with a 2K goal and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, providing a smooth and secure user experience.
A Milestone for Redmi
During the launch Redmi’s Head supervisor, Wang Teng Thomas, communicated trust in the K80 series, foreseeing it will be the top lead of 2025. Redmi also celebrated a huge achievement, declaring that the brand has delivered over 1.11 billion units worldwide in the past 11 years, arriving in 105 countries and regions.
What’s Next for Redmi?
Looking forward, Redmi is planning to launch the Redmi Turbo 4 this month. Reports propose this new gadget will include a 1.5K OLED show, the Dimensity 8400 chipset, and support for 90W quick charging.
With the Redmi K80 series setting new records and the Turbo 4 on the horizon, Redmi keeps on pushing limits in the smartphone market.
