Realme has announced that the much-awaited Realme Neo7 smartphone will launch in China on December 11. We don’t know the global launch date yet, but this mid-range phone is already making waves. Realme confirmed that the Neo7 will have a huge 7000mAh Titan battery, which is rare even in high-end phones.
Focus on Performance and Battery Life
Realme worked with Ningde New Energy (CATL) to create the Titan battery. They probably used Si/C battery tech, which means the battery can store more energy and stay light. This partnership makes the battery’s high performance believable.
Rumors say the phone will support 80W SuperVOOC wired charging, so you can charge the big battery quickly. The phone is also expected to have a large 1.5K resolution display for clear and sharp visuals, perfect for watching videos and doing work.
Performance
The phone will have a Dimensity 9300+ processor, which has already shown great results with a score of 2.4 million points. This means it will be very fast and powerful.
Realme hinted that the phone might have an IP69 rating, making it highly resistant to dust and water. This level of protection is usually found in only a few high-end phones.
Price and Availability
The Neo7 will start at around ¥2499 (about $345, €330, or INR 29,100). This makes it competitive in the mid-range market.
In November, Xu Qi, Realme’s vice president, said there will be two types of mid-range phones: the high-end “realme GT series” and the mid-range e-sports focused “realme Neo series”. Realme claims the Neo7 will deliver top-notch performance, battery life, and quality within its price range.
Comparison with Realme GT Neo6
The realme GT Neo6, launched in May this year, has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, a 5500mAh battery, and 120W charging. The Neo7 is expected to have better battery life and performance than the GT Neo6, making it a great choice for those who want a powerful phone without spending too much.
