It’s rumored that other brands like iQOO, OnePlus, and Redmi will also launch phones with 7,000mAh batteries in 2025. A new post on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station mentions an upcoming iQOO phone with a 7,000mAh battery.This phone, which might be called the iQOO Z10 Turbo, is expected to launch in 2025.
Rumored Specs of iQOO Z10 Turbo
According to the leak, the upcoming iQOO smartphone will have a Qualcomm SM8735 chip, likely called the Snapdragon 8s Elite. Since the iQOO Z9 Turbo had the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, it’s possible that the new phone with the Snapdragon 8s Elite will be the iQOO Z10 Turbo.
The leak mentions that the Z10 Turbo will feature an OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It will come with two rear cameras, featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor, and it will support fast charging at either 80W or 90W. The standout feature is the large single-cell silicon battery, which exceeds 7,000mAh and promises great battery life.
Comparison with iQOO Z9 Turbo
The iQOO Z9 Turbo, released in April 2024, has a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It was priced around 1999 Yuan (~$275), so the Z10 Turbo might have a similar price.

Interestingly, Redmi is also said to be working on the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro with the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset. This device might be rebranded as the Poco F7 in the global market.
