itel Surprises Everyone with S25 and S25 Ultra Launch Ahead of Samsung’s S25

The Samsung S25 series is still a few months away, expected to launch in February. In the meantime, itel has released the S25 and S25 Ultra models, which may sound similar but are budget-friendly options.

itel launched these phones in the Philippines as updates to its S24 series. It’s clear that the brand wanted to have a little fun with the Galaxy S25, using a similar square design and adding its own twist with a unique ring light flash.

itel S25 / S25 Ultra Specifications
The itel S25 has a flat AMOLED display, while the S25 Ultra steps up with a curved AMOLED display and a two-tone color design.

The itel S25 has a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth viewing. It runs on an unconfirmed processor, likely the Unisoc T612. The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera and a 32MP selfie camera, along with DTS Audio support for better sound. Its battery has a good 5000mAh capacity, but there’s no mention of fast charging. The phone also has IP54 splash resistance.

The S25 Ultra offers slightly better features, keeping the same screen size and refresh rate but upgrading to a curved AMOLED with Gorilla Glass 7i. It’s powered by the Unisoc T620 processor, paired with the same 50MP and 32MP camera setup, and includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The Ultra also has a higher water-resistance rating (IP64), providing more protection from dust and water.
