iQOO 13 is Coming to India in December Here’s What to Expect

A few days ago, iQOO announced the launch of the iQOO 13 in China. Now, the company is planning a global launch, with India likely being one of the first countries to get the device. A recent post on X by iQOO India confirms that the phone will launch in India in December. While earlier reports mentioned possible dates like Dec. 3, Dec. 5, and Dec. 13, the exact date hasn’t been confirmed yet.

The iQOO 13’s page on Amazon and the official iQOO website also reveal some of its specs and color options. The Indian version will have the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a Q2 supercomputing chip to support 144fps game frame interpolation and 2K resolution, and a 2K LTPO AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate.

In terms of color, the iQOO 13 will come in white (known as the Legend Edition) and grey in India, though in China, it’s also available in green and black.

The iQOO 13 set to launch in India will feature the same specifications as the version released in China. This includes a large 6.82-inch BOE Q10 flat screen with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, fast LPDDR5x Ultra RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage for quicker data access.

It’s expected to run on Android 15 with FunTouch OS 15. For security, there’s an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. The phone also has a high-quality 32-megapixel front camera for selfies. At the back, there’s a triple-camera setup: a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.

It’s an AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+ support, and a 144Hz refresh rate that can adjust to different speeds. The screen can reach up to 1800 nits brightness in HBM mode and has a peak brightness of 4500 nits. It also shows over 1 billion colors.
  • Processor: It is powered by the Octa-Core Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, built with advanced 3nm technology, and comes with an Adreno 830 GPU for smooth graphics.
  • Memory and Storage: The phone offers options of 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and storage choices of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB with UFS 4.0 technology for faster performance.
  • Operating System: Runs on Android 15 with OriginOS 5.0 in China or Funtouch OS 15 for global users.
  • SIM: Dual SIM support (nano + nano).

    • Rear Cameras: The main camera is 50MP with a Sony IMX921 sensor, optical image stabilization (OIS), and an LED flash. There’s also a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 150° field of view and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and OIS.
