Huawei has just released the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 for the global market, after its initial launch in China a few weeks ago. This announcement took place in Dubai, alongside the Huawei Mate X6 foldable smartphone.
Features of Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4
At the center of the FreeBuds Pro 4 is the powerful Kirin A2 chip, which allows high-speed 2.3 Mbps transmission and supports up to 48kHz/24-bit lossless audio.
The earbuds have a dual-driver system, combining an 11mm dynamic driver with a micro-planar tweeter. This setup gives you deep bass, clear midrange, and extended treble.
To make your listening experience even better, the FreeBuds Pro 4 includes advanced noise cancellation technology. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) reduces background noise, while a voice-transparent mode lets you switch easily between music and conversations. The earbuds also use digital frequency division and dynamic EQ to adjust sound quality based on your environment.
They are equipped with four microphones and a reverse bone conduction pickup microphone to improve call quality. Additional features include immersive spatial audio and a nod-to-answer feature that lets you answer or reject calls hands-free.
The FreeBuds Pro 4 offer up to 6.5 hours of playback without ANC or 4.5 hours with ANC on a single charge. When you use the charging case, the battery life goes up to 33 hours if you don’t use ANC, or 23 hours if you do. The earbuds are rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, making them suitable for different conditions.

The HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 4 is available in Black, White, and Green. It is priced at 199 Euros and will be available for purchase starting January 9, 2025, through Huawei’s online store and selected retailers.
