Honor’s MagicBook Art 14 with Powerful Snapdragon X Elite Processor Launches in China—Global Release Coming Soon

Honor has officially launched the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon, a high-quality laptop powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite chipset. This laptop, first introduced at the IFA 2024 event in Berlin, shows Honor’s focus on making energy-efficient and AI-powered devices for both professionals and everyday users.

Honor MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon Features

The MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon comes with a 14.6-inch OLED display and a high resolution of 3.1K (3120 x 2080 pixels). Its slim bezels create a 97% screen-to-body ratio, giving it a nearly edge-to-edge screen. The laptop is also thin, just 10mm, and light, weighing only 1 kilogram, thanks to its strong magnesium and aluminum build.

Inside, it’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite chipset, which has 12 cores and can reach speeds of up to 4.0GHz. With up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, the laptop can handle multitasking and heavy applications with ease. The laptop also features an AI-powered NPU (neural processing unit) that delivers up to 45 TOPS of AI processing power, helping it handle complex tasks efficiently.

Honor’s OS Turbo 3.0 technology helps extend battery life, allowing for up to 15.22 hours of 1080p video playback on a single charge.

For added privacy, the laptop includes a magnetic webcam that can be easily removed and stored when not in use. Users can reattach it to the side of the laptop whenever they need it for video calls or content creation.

Honor’s MagicOS allows the laptop to connect smoothly with other Honor devices. With the MagicRing feature, users can control multiple devices with just one set of peripherals (like a mouse and keyboard). The laptop also includes the AI Eraser tool, first seen on the Magic V3 smartphone, which lets users erase unwanted parts from images.

Pricing & Availability

Right now, the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon is only available in China, with a price of CNY 8,499 (about $1,179) for the model with 32GB RAM and a 1TB SSD. However, as Honor’s global reach expands, the laptop is expected to be released in more countries soon.
