Honor GT’s Launch Date Confirmed, Design Unveiled in Official Images

Honor has officially announced that its new GT series smartphone will go on sale in China on December 16 at 19:30 p.m. (local time). To provide a sneak peek at the phone’s back design, the company unveiled the first teaser yesterday. It unveiled a few promotional photos today to highlight its white version.

Honor GT Design Revealed

The white version of the Honor GT features a dual-tone design with flat edges, as seen in the new pictures. Dual cameras and a dual-tone flash are part of the rectangular rear camera setup, which also prominently displays the red “GT” logo in the bottom-right corner. The phone’s bottom edge features a SIM slot, a speaker, a microphone, and a USB-C port.

The device’s sleek and sturdy design suggests that it is a high-performance gaming device that offers great value. Although precise specifications are still unknown, rumors indicate the phone will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform. A 1.5K OLED flat screen and 100W wired fast charging are anticipated features.

The GT series is expected to compete with comparable models from other brands, according to industry insiders who have praised Honor’s consistent performance and dependability. It is anticipated to compete with current models like the iQOO Neo 10 and the Redmi K80. Future phones like the OnePlus Ace 5 and Realme Neo 7 will also be competitors. All of the other phones have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, with the exception of the Neo 7, which has the Dimensity 9300 Plus chip.

Zhao Ming, the CEO of Honor, claims that the GT series will present distinctive and thought-provoking design ideas suited for the AI era. Young users who are keen to try out the newest innovations are the target audience for the series.
