Last month, Casio introduced the G-Shock Flame Inside series in Japan with four models: GA-2100FL-1A, GA-100FL-1A, GA-2100FL-8A, and GA-100FL-8A. These models are now available in the US.
Features of the G-Shock Flame Inside Series
The G-Shock Flame Inside collection brings new color options to the GA-100FL and GA-2100FL models. The Flame Orange models have a gradient orange dial and a smoky black-and-gray band, representing intensity and energy. The Flame Blue models have a blue dial and band, symbolizing resilience and strength. Both colors reflect the theme of overcoming challenges.
GA-2100FL Models: These are lightweight, weighing only 51 grams. They come with a bio-based resin case and band, making them environmentally friendly. Despite being light, they still offer G-Shock’s shock resistance and 200-meter water resistance. Features include a double LED light, world time for 31 time zones, a countdown timer, and a three-year battery life.
GA-100FL Models: These weigh 72 grams and have additional features like magnetic resistance, a Mach indicator, and a stopwatch that can measure speeds up to 1,998 units per hour.
Pricing and Availability
The collection is expected to be competitively priced and is listed on Casio’s US store, where you can mark items as favorites before the official release. In Japan, the GA-100FL models cost ¥22,000 (about $145), and the GA-2100FL models cost ¥20,900 (around $138).
