BenQ has just launched the PD2706QN, a new monitor designed for professionals. Priced at 3,099 yuan ($428), it’s now available in China on JD.com. Let’s dive into its key features.
BenQ PD2706QN Specifications
The BenQ PD2706QN features a 2K display (2560×1440) with a 100Hz refresh rate, which means it provides smoother visuals compared to the standard 60Hz monitors. It also has a special Nano Matte panel that reduces glare, making it easier on your eyes and giving you clear, accurate colors. Plus, it’s certified by TÜV Rheinland for anti-reflective performance, making it great for long hours of work or play.
The monitor uses AQCOLOR technology, which ensures the colors are professionally calibrated for accurate display. It’s factory-calibrated, so when you set it up, the colors are already right.
The PD2706QN supports several color gamuts like 95% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, and Rec.709, making it perfect for designers or anyone who needs color accuracy. There’s even a special M-Book mode for Mac users, so your Apple devices will show the same true-to-life colors across the board.
It also has ICCSync technology, which automatically adjusts the color profile as you switch between different color settings. You can use the Palette Master Ultimate (PMU) software for even more precise calibration with a colorimeter, ensuring your colors stay spot on.
In terms of modes, the PD2706QN offers four options to suit different needs: Darkroom mode for low-light environments, Animation mode for clearer shadows, CAD/CAM mode for sharper lines and designs, and DualView mode for comparing two different color settings side by side.
For connections, the PD2706QN includes Type-C ports, which let you send video, audio, and data through a single cable. Plus, it can deliver up to 90W of power to your laptop or tablet. It also has KVM functionality, so you can control two systems with the same set of peripherals.
The monitor is designed to be comfortable too, with adjustable height, tilt, pivot, and swivel options. It also includes eye-care features, such as Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light modes, which help reduce eye strain during long hours of use. These features have been certified by TÜV Rheinland for added reliability.
