After the global launch of the Oppo Pad 3 Pro, the Chinese tech giant is preparing to unveil the standard version of the tablet, the Oppo Pad 3. Set to debut alongside the Reno 13 series smartphones in China on November 25th, the Oppo Pad 3 will offer a range of upgraded features. Ahead of the official announcement, Oppo has confirmed some key specifications of the upcoming device.
According to official posts on Weibo, the Oppo Pad 3 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset and run on ColorOS 15. The tablet will come with an impressive 512GB of internal storage, ensuring smooth performance for extended use. While the Oppo Pad 2 featured the Dimensity 9000, the new Dimensity 8350 is expected to outperform its predecessor in both GPU and CPU performance, despite the slight difference in naming.
Battery life is another standout feature of the Oppo Pad 3. Oppo claims the tablet will offer up to 70 days of standby time on a single charge, though the exact battery capacity remains undisclosed. The design of the Oppo Pad 3 will closely resemble that of the Pad 3 Pro, but it will be available in two color options: Silver and Purple.
Rumors suggest the Oppo Pad 3 will sport an 11.6-inch LCD display with a 2.8K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The Oppo Pad 3 is expected to feature a sizable 9510mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging. Weighing in at 533 grams and measuring just 6.29mm thick, the tablet will be slim and lightweight. For storage options, it is rumored to come in configurations of 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB.
The official launch on November 25th will reveal further details on the Oppo Pad 3’s specifications, pricing, and availability. Stay tuned for more updates.
