A new Samsung mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A26, has been leaked, giving us a clear look at its design. The latest CAD renders show the phone from the front and back, giving us a better idea of what to expect.
Samsung Galaxy A26 Design Details
The Galaxy A26, a device from the South Korean tech giant, recently appeared on GeekBench, where it was listed with an Exynos 1280 processor. Now, thanks to the leaked renders (shared by AndroidHeadlines), we know more about its design.
The front of the phone features an Infinity-U display with slightly thick bezels. On the back, there’s a triple camera setup housed in an oval-shaped module. In terms of size, the Galaxy A26 measures 164 x 77.5 x 7.7mm, making it thinner than last year’s Galaxy A25, which had dimensions of 161 x 76.5 x 8.3mm.
What We Know So Far
So far, the renders haven’t revealed much else. However, earlier leaks suggested that the phone might have 6GB of RAM, with the possibility of an 8GB variant too. It will come with Android 15 and Samsung’s One UI 7 out of the box.
Interestingly, Samsung could offer six years of both OS and security updates for the Galaxy A26, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Launch Timeline and Specs
Samsung hasn’t officially announced the launch date yet, but rumors suggest it could arrive in December 2024 or January 2025. The price will likely be similar to the Galaxy A25 5G.
For the cameras, the Galaxy A26 might include a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, though these details are not confirmed yet. It’s also expected to have a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
More details should surface as the launch gets closer, so stay tuned for updates
