Oppo is ready to launch its Find X8 series smartphones worldwide, including in India, on November 21. This launch follows its recent release in China. Soon after, Oppo is expected to introduce the mid-range Reno 13 series in China.
However, as reported by 91mobiles, the Reno 13 series won’t be available outside China right away. Instead, Oppo may bring the Reno 13 series to India in January 2025, which would mean a two-month wait after its launch in China. This timeline matches Oppo’s usual pattern for the Reno series, where new devices are launched globally a few months after their initial release in China.
Expected Specifications for the Oppo Reno 13 Series
Based on recent leaks, the Reno 13 series is expected to bring strong features for the mid-range market. Both the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro models are likely to come with 1.5K resolution displays, a solid metal body, and MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 processor, with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
The Reno 13 is expected to have a 6.59-inch display, while the Pro model may come with a larger 6.83-inch quad-micro-curved screen. Both models are also expected to have high water and dust resistance ratings (IP68/IP69), X-axis linear vibration motors, and stereo speakers to improve the overall experience.
Battery and Charging Features
Battery life also looks promising. The Reno 13 may come with a 5600mAh battery, while the Pro model might offer a larger 5900mAh battery. The Pro version is also rumored to support magnetic wireless charging.
Camera Highlights for the Reno 13 Pro
The camera setup on the Reno 13 Pro could be another strong point. It may include a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and an impressive 50MP periscope telephoto lens for capturing distant shots. The front camera is expected to be 50MP as well.
