The Vivo X200 series, which launched last month in China, is now set for a global release soon. Vivo’s Malaysian branch confirmed this by teasing the phones on their social media. The lineup includes three models: the X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini. However, the teaser suggests only the X200 and X200 Pro will launch in Malaysia, which matches recent listings on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification.
Rumors also hint that Vivo might launch these phones in India later this month. Though Vivo hasn’t confirmed the exact date, tipster Paras Guglani predicts they could arrive on November 22nd. He didn’t specify which country, so the launch could still be in Malaysia, India, or somewhere else.
Here’s a look at the specs for the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro:
The Vivo X200 has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The X200 Pro features a slightly larger 6.78-inch display with the same refresh rate and brightness but adds an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen. Both models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip, with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage for faster performance.
Battery life is also strong, with the X200 packing a 5,800mAh battery and the X200 Pro having a 6,000mAh one. Both phones offer 90W wired charging, while the Pro version also includes 30W wireless charging.
In terms of cameras, both models come with a 32-megapixel front camera. The X200 has a triple-lens rear setup with a 50MP Sony main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 3x periscope lens for zoom shots. The X200 Pro offers even better features with a 50MP main sensor, a 200MP 3.7x periscope lens for zoom, and the same 50MP ultra-wide sensor.
We’ll have to wait for Vivo’s official announcements to learn more about the global release date and regions. Stay tuned for updates!
