Honor Magic 7 Series Sets New Milestone with Record-Breaking First-Day Sales

Last week, Honor launched its new Magic 7 series in China, building on the success of the Magic 6. This series brings improved AI features and the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, making it a strong upgrade.

Honor announced that the Magic 7 series set a new record for first-day sales. It officially went on sale on November 8 at 10:08 AM and quickly attracted lots of attention.

The Honor Magic 7 is available in five colors: Sunrise Gold, Moon Shadow Grey, Snowy White, Sky Blue, and Velvet Black. : Moon Shadow Grey, Snowy White, Sky Blue, and Velvet Black.

Prices
The base model starts at 4,499 yuan (about $626), with the top model priced at 5,499 yuan ($765) for the satellite communication feature. The Pro version starts at 5,699 yuan ($793), and the highest model costs 6,699 yuan ($933) with satellite communication.

Key Specs
The Magic 7 has a 6.78-inch flat OLED screen, while the Pro model has a 6.8-inch curved OLED display. Both screens offer an adjustable refresh rate from 1-120Hz and can reach a brightness level of 5000 nits for HDR.

Both phones run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and Adreno 830 GPU, making them good for gaming and overall performance. Honor included a liquid cooling system to help with heat. The Magic 7 series also features the MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, which includes the YOYO Smart Assistant and improved privacy settings.

For photos, the Magic 7 has a 50MP triple-lens camera, while the Pro adds a 200MP telephoto lens with 100x zoom. Both models come with advanced AI photography features and a 50MP front camera. The Pro model also includes a ToF sensor for 3D facial recognition.

The Magic 7 has a 5650mAh battery, and the Pro has a slightly larger 5850mAh battery. Both models support 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. Honor’s Qinghai Lake battery tech is designed to extend battery life. Both phones also have IP68/69 ratings, ultrasonic fingerprint sensors, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, satellite messaging, and 10x drop resistance.
